    Why People Visit:

Las Vegas, or "Sin City", is well known for its nightlife and casinos. People travel from all over to celebrate and party at some of the best nightclubs, day clubs, casinos, and pools in the world. But partying isn't all Las Vegas has to offer. Las Vegas offers some of the most luxurious and gourmet dining in the world as well. It's hard to walk more than a few blocks before another stunning restaurant with a celebrity chef at the helm pulls you in for tasty dishes. The entertainment is also world-class. Some of the biggest names in entertainment put on nightly/weekly shows on the strip, and Las Vegas is home to seven renowned Cirque du Soleil shows, as well as burlesque and vaudeville productions. If you are looking for a little retail therapy after a late night at the casino, the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace will have you shopping till you're ready to hit the casino again. While you may think of Las Vegas as an adult playground, there are also many family-friendly attractions. The Adventuredome (the largest indoor theme park in the country) at Circus Circus and high flying roller coasters at New York-New York will keep kids of all ages entertained for hours. Nature-lovers should venture out of the city to spots such as Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, or many other state parks that are nearby. Whatever you're into, book a vacation rental now to come explore all that Las Vegas has to offer.

    Get There and Get Around:

Las Vegas has one major airport, the McCarran International Airport (LAS). There are multiple options for getting into town via car rental, metro bus lines, taxis, airport and hotel shuttles, rideshare companies, and limos. These all service the airport and can get you to your vacation rental.

Getting around town? Utilize free hotel shuttles to take you up and down the strip, take a taxi or rideshare, or take it all in on foot. If you want to visit the Hoover Dam, it is best to rent a car, as it's rather far, but worth the trip.

    What to Wear (The Weather):

Las Vegas is in the desert and can get very hot during the summer. June through September are the hottest months, while December through February are the coldest. The best time (and busiest) to visit is in the spring when temperatures are moderate.

    Accommodations:

Las Vegas has around 2,750 vacation accommodation options to choose from. House rentals make up close to half of vacation rentals with an average nightly price of $325 for around 2,500 square feet. These can typically accommodate 6-8 people making it a good option for larger groups or families. Condos/Apartments make up the rest of vacation rentals with an average price of $150 per night for 1000 square feet. Whatever you're looking for, there are plenty of options in Las Vegas to choose your next vacation rental.
